Dr. Jason M. Lane
I grew up in Southern Arizona in a small town called Sierra Vista. Growing up with my father and grandfather both practicing dentistry had a huge impact on what profession I decided to pursue. As a child, I had always known that I wanted to be a dentist and to follow in their footsteps. After I received my bachelors from Northern Arizona University, I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery with Honors in Esthetic Dentistry from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California.

Ultimately, my love for the great outdoors, small towns, and an escape from the Arizona heat was what drove me to Alaska. I enjoy hiking, fishing, hunting, and spending time with my wife and our dogs. Iím so appreciative of the Willow Community who have been so kind and welcoming to us!

Mairen Lane, Front Office
I moved around a lot as a child since both of my parents were in the Army and ended up in Sierra Vista, Arizona, where I spent most of my childhood. I met Jason in high school where we started dating and have been together ever since! I attended Northern Arizona University and received a B.S. in Art Education.

I spend most my time in my makeshift studio throwing clay on my wheel and firing my kiln, running with our dog, Tilly, and trying to be outside as much as possible! I find peace of mind out in nature and always knew I wanted to be far away from the city. Living in Alaska has been an amazing opportunity and Iím excited for whatís to come.

Kristie Vice, Dental Assistant
I moved to Willow in 1990 with my husband and children. This community has been a wonderful place to live and raise my family. Over the years, I have enjoyed giving back by volunteering through W.A.C.O., Willow Elementary P.T.A., and Willow Area Seniors activities. I was invited to join the team at Willow Dental in September of 2014. This has given me another opportunity to serve our community, meet new folks, and reconnect with many others.

My family and I enjoy fishing, hunting, camping, car racing and gathering together with friends for BBQís. I also enjoy horseback riding, 4-wheeling, gardening, crocheting and many other crafting activities.

Brittany Darden, Dental Assistant
I just moved to Willow from Anchorage where I was born and raised. I love the small town country feel. My family has owned a cabin in Big Lake since I was six years old, so I like to say I was raised half in Anchorage and half in Big Lake. My parents used to call me a fish because my lips would turn bright blue and then they would have to drag me out of the lake!

I have been a dental assistant for seven years now. I worked for two years in general dentistry and for the last five years in Pediatric Dentistry for a great dentist in Anchorage. Iím proud to say I am now a board certified dental assistant! Iím really excited to be in Willow working with Dr. Lane and Mairen. Kristie has been a true blessing as well!
